on the way home from one of the country churches today. DH is fond of back roads and we saw a sign that said 'Melons Ahead'. We came around a bend and found that a group of motorcyclists from the Sunshine coast had stopped too. Here's what they had done:

Meanwhile LJ was freaked out and wouldn't let me get out of the car!
Those melons looks so cool they would hardly need refridgeration.

ReplyDeleteWe did. And they taste GREAT. The bikers turned up to use the park across the road from church the next morning on their way home from the Bunyas. LJ freaked out - AGAIN! Four dollars for a whole watermelon is a bit of a bargain.
