Just watched this. I really enjoyed it. No unnecessary scenes or language use (just the suggestion). It's sad in places. If you've lived in Australia I highly recommend it.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll laugh again... My wife got it for Christmas. Tissues came out at the one hour mark. Our thirteen year old made herself a bit sad the next day just thinking about it. Now she'd like us to watch it again.

We came out wanting a kelpie - unfortunately our (rented) yard is not big enough for a working dog.
